Oh... very many. Since I usually design small projects and, once they’re finished, they also find buyers relatively quickly, I can’t keep track anymore.
But my resolution for the coming year is to keep a tally: skeins of yarn crocheted up and finished pieces
My UFO count stays balanced—sometimes I finish something, sometimes I add something new. In any case, there’s no uncontrolled proliferation like there was in the past.
Just under 110 finished pieces (most of them, of course, several times) and about 10 UFOs.....wow, that really adds up. No wonder I’m slowly running out of space^^
That’s a good question… I’d estimate around 50 pieces: several shawls/scarves/cowls, 3 small bags, and the rest are amigurumi—both large and small… maybe I’ll have some fun and create a collage of my 2016 projects.
I have about 10 UFOs (though I’d rather call them WIPs)—depending on my mood, I pick out one project or another, depending on whether I want to crochet tightly or loosely, whether I want to tinker or just crochet “without thinking,” and then there are a few pieces that just need to be sewn together or have the ends woven in (I don’t really like doing that).
An interesting question. For me, it's 59 finished crochet pieces. Mainly amigurumi, but also four bags, various decorations, and two accessories.
I have one UFO—at least that's how I remember it ;) A blanket in rainbow colors. It absolutely needs to be finished, since only a few rows and weaving in the ends are left.
I also have a handful of started and abandoned projects that I've kept. Maybe inspiration will strike for them yet :)
The fact that you can all give such precise answers... I’m amazed! ;)
Honestly... I can’t say for sure, since sometimes I’ll make a little something here, a little gift there... there are some things I can’t even really remember anymore. Roughly speaking, it must be about 70 pieces...
I currently have 3 UFOs:
1 long-term UFO that will probably never be finished, and 2 hats that I work on a few stitches here and there every now and then (so more like WIPs).
Well, I’d estimate about 70. Just under 50 new patterns and a few projects I finished using my own patterns for relatives, acquaintances, friends, and coworkers. As for UFOs, there are definitely about 12 of those as well. They just won’t get finished because I keep having to bring new ideas to life! I’m sure I’ll finish those in 2017, too!
I’m just like Tina—I can’t even keep track of exactly how many projects I’ve done, because I’m always making little things for family or friends in between… but it’s probably around 60 to 70. And UFOs? Do the ideas I have in my head count too? If so, there are an infinite number of them!
I can’t say for sure. I’m always working on something, and whatever I finish goes into the “someone’s bound to want this” bag. And for some reason, that bag never gets full—pieces are always disappearing from it.
There were 6 really big projects—the kind that took me more than 3 weeks to complete.
UFOs are easier to count. I have exactly 5 of those. 3 are almost done; the other two will probably take until summer.
But I’ve made the same resolution as Petra. I’m going to weigh the yarn and keep track of it, and also make a list of the finished pieces, so I can tally up my annual yarn consumption and see what I’ve made with it.
Knitted and crocheted: about 90; craft projects: countless little things—I’m afraid I can’t count them all anymore. UFOs: 2—they’ve been sitting around for a while; I don’t like the pattern anymore.
