Baby Dragon Jimmy
(Suitable for beginners)

You definitely won’t need a dragon slayer for this enchanting little dragon. With his little outstretched arms, Jimmy simply makes you want to hug and cuddle him. The little dragon is approx. 34 cm tall and almost 28 cm wide, and is also suitable for beginners. Across 24 pages, I show how Jimmy, the little baby dragon, is made, with lots of pictures, text, and stitch explanations in table form. Just give him a try—you’ll love him ;)

What you need for this:

Polyester yarn, various brands (I used, for example, Gründl Happy, Real’s house brand, and Karstadt) 50 g = 120 m yardage/100 g = 250 m yardage :
  • Turquoise approx. 250 g
  • Dark purple approx. 30 g
  • Light purple approx. 60–80 g
  • White fabric scrap for eyes and tongue + red and black permanent marker + a little glue
  • Thicker craft wire for tail and wings (if the dragon is for children, I would leave out the wire)
  • 3.5 mm crochet hook, yarn needle and scissors, and stuffing material
Optional for a stable standing/sitting position:
  • Fill a small bag with bird sand
What you need to know:

MR = Magic Ring M = stitch FM = single crochet Lm = chain stitch zusm. = together
verdp. = double stitch vMg. = front loop hMg. = back loop

Finger puppets are quick to crochet from a few bits of leftover yarn and are very popular with children. Since they fit into any handbag, you can take them anywhere, and then they can chase away boredom—on car rides, in the doctor’s waiting room, or even when you have to lie sick in bed.
In my shop you’ll find lots of different patterns for finger puppets:

Are you looking for THE perfect gift for little boys?
How about Herbärt the construction worker?

Herbärt is a hardworking bear who loves spending his time on the construction site. His tool belt has plenty of room for his tools. Since safety is very important to him, he always wears his safety vest and helmet while working. After the work is done, he can take off his work clothes and enjoy his evening as a regular teddy bear.

The finished bear will be about 30 cm tall.

For one bear, you will need the following:

♦Crochet yarn in your desired colors, recommendation: cotton with a yardage of 125 m / 50 g. (One skein per color was enough for me, but if you are buying specifically for the project, you should get 2 of the fur color)

♦Craft stuffing or similar

♦Safety eyes in your desired size

♦One button

I assume that, as passionate crocheters, you already have the right crochet hooks and a sewing needle at home. :-)

You should know the following: crocheting in rounds, crocheting in rows, chain stitches, single crochet, double crochet, half double crochet, color changes, decreases and increases.

If anything should be unclear, there are links to online videos at the end of the pattern that explain these basic crochet skills.

And here you can get the pattern! Until Christmas, even with a 40% discount!

I hope you have lots of fun making it! :-)

SAY IT WITH ANGELS! Give the gift of happiness, friendship, protection, love, good cheer, and Christmas cheer.

These 6 girl angels also make a wonderful gift for children, because everyone can use a lucky angel or a guardian angel.

You can mix and match the hairstyles, angels, and accessories however you like. Would you rather crochet the lucky angel in purple, or the guardian angel with curls at the sides? With this pattern, you can let your creativity run wild.

You’ll find all additional information—including the materials needed, the stitches used, and the pattern—here: Pattern for 6 Girl Angels

By the way, the pattern also comes with a free add-on where I show you how to crochet a stroller chain from the angels.

Whether for Christmas or a birthday—this doll clothing is guaranteed to make little girls’ hearts beat faster. They’ll immediately carry over their dolls with excitement, and the big fashion show can begin.

There are three versions:
1. Crocheted series “Swing” with swinging dresses, hats, and bags
2. Crocheted series “Chic & Sexy” —here everything is cut more to fit the figure, and the hats are more sophisticated too
3. Knitted elegant evening dress with an exciting neckline

So, what makes your heart beat faster? Doesn’t this bring back memories of your own childhood too? And how lovely would it be to give such lovingly handmade clothing together with a doll ...

I wish you lots of joy crocheting and knitting—Yours, Ina
