My slightly different owl—she wanted to be a Viking :D

Detailed pattern with a 14-page PDF and lots of pictures.
Materials:
  • Yarn – approx. 40 g (50 g – 133 m LL) in polyacrylic, e.g. brown; yarn – approx. 10–20 g each (50 g – 133 m LL) in polyacrylic, e.g. white, gray, and orange; gradient yarn of your choice for hook size 3–4 mm
  • Crochet hook, size 3 mm
  • Sewing needle
  • Pins
  • Felt in black, white, and gray
  • Stuffing
  • Glue, e.g. Uhu
  • Scissors
  • Half-beads in 8 and 6 mm
  • Toothpicks
  • Pipe cleaners
  • White acrylic paint
  • Orange sewing thread

Basic crochet skills are required. Magic ring, single crochet, double crochet, slip stitch, chain stitch, decreases, increases, crocheting in rows and rounds. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask.

Baby Sleeping Bag, Baby Bunting Bag with Owl Motif—suitable for approx. 0–7 months

Detailed step-by-step pattern with precise explanations for each motif round to be knitted.

approx. 300–320 g of yarn with a yardage of approx. 185 m / 100 g

Little owls as keychains, bag charms, or flower picks… there are so many ways to showcase these owls.

Made with cotton yarn, the owls are about 14 cm tall, and you’ll need a few scraps of yarn, safety eyes, and stuffing.
The pattern is explained step by step with pictures!

The Shuhuu family would love to celebrate Christmas with you! How about knitting a separate owl for each family member?
The pattern is very detailed and includes lots of pictures. There is also a tutorial for the short rows: That way, they’ll lose their scary reputation once and for all ;-)

How about a mochila bag with an owl motif? The continuous motif does require a bit of patience, but it’s definitely worth it.


Materials:
  • 50 g/125 m “Catania” cotton yarn,
  • 2x brown,
  • 3x cream,
  • 1x green,
  • 1x lilac,
  • 1x gray,
  • crochet hooks sizes 2 and 2.5,
  • knitting dolly or 90 cm cord,
  • 2 wooden beads, 15 mm in diameter,
  • marking thread or stitch marker

The bag is crocheted with potholder cotton, and thanks to its simple pattern, it’s also suitable
for beginners to this crochet style. Size: 27 cm wide, 26 cm high. Materials:
  • Cotton yarn, 50 g / 90 m
  • 5 skeins of yellow
  • 4 skeins of brown
  • 8 owl eyes, 15 mm
  • 2 safety eyes, 10 mm
  • 2 metal half-rings with a side length of 3.5 cm
  • 1 zipper
  • Crochet hook sizes 3 and 3.5
  • Brown sewing thread
  • Sewing needle
  • Pliers
  • and a keyring with a carabiner.
Skills: Tapestry crochet, single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, increases and decreases, crocheting in spiral rounds and closed rounds.
