Sometimes you just don’t know what to give for Christmas or St. Nicholas Day. Many people ask for money or gift certificates, and the packaging for those can be pretty boring. With this crocheted Christmas frame you can not only give a beautiful family photo, but also package a gift certificate or money decoratively. The frame is very quick to make and also great for beginners. What you need:Gründl Happy yarn (100 g = 250 m yardage)

• Red, approx. 30–40 g
• A few grams of baby pink, a little black and white
• Stuffing and googly eyes
• A picture frame in a matching color for photos sized 10x15 and with a frame width/depth of 1 cm x 2 cm
• Crochet hook size 4, yarn needle, and scissors
• (Spray) glue, glue gun if needed

B u t I’m not prudish—yet I find making a Santa Claus like this completely inappropriate.
