With this pattern, you get a gift and packaging in one.
Manni the polar bear makes a wonderful gift for children big and small, and his sack can also hold small extra gifts such as jewelry, candy, or even money.

What you need:
♦ Crochet yarn, recommendation: cotton with a yardage of 125 m / 50 g in various colors, e.g. Schachenmayr Catania or Scheepjes Catona:
• White (approx. 25 g) • Red (approx. 20 g) • Green (approx. 12 g) • Dark brown (approx. 2 g, if a sack is crocheted, another approx. 10 g) • Gold/Yellow (scrap) • Black (scrap)
(This information refers to the bear on the cover photo. Other color combinations are of course also possible)
♦ Crochet hook: Please check the information on the yarn! For the types mentioned, a 2.5 mm hook works well, for example
♦ Craft stuffing or similar for filling the bear
♦ Sewing needle to sew the pieces together
♦ Safety eyes (if desired, in your preferred size.)
♦ A small bell (if desired)

You should be familiar with the following: crocheting in rounds, crocheting in rows, chain stitches, single crochet, double crochet, half double crochet, treble crochet, color changes, decreases, and increases.

Here is the pattern

Do you also think that beautiful gifts deserve special gift wrapping?
How about the star-shaped gift box?

With a size of approx. 22 x 10 cm and stabilized side walls, it offers space for a surprise or two.
And there’s more: After giving it as a gift, small treasures can be kept inside, or you can serve treats in it. You can also place a few nuts on the lid or sprinkle it with snow and decorate it with Christmas decorations. With the pattern, you can also crochet a complete table decoration, including tealight/cup coasters, placemats, and scatter decorations. You can also crochet star-shaped tree/window decorations or gift tags.

All with this pattern: Take a look here :)

You’ll need about 250 grams of cotton yarn for a 5.5 mm hook and stabilizing film for the side walls (alternatively cardboard/photo cardstock).

Best regards,
Steffi

Perfectly festive—a gift bag featuring Santa Claus!

This pretty bag measures approximately 18.5 x 21 x 14 cm and is made from cardstock. It’s quite sturdy and suitable even for moderately heavy gifts. All parts of Santa’s face include positioning guides, and the instructions describe exactly how to assemble it—other than a bit of patience, no special skills are required. The bag is also easy to make overall and can be recreated by beginners without any trouble.

A slightly different gift wrapping idea is these little angels and Santa Claus. Under their dress, they have room for a small surprise. The base has a diameter of approx. 4 cm, so money, jewelry, or something sweet to snack on will fit nicely inside. An individual, special
and somewhat different gift wrapping idea that you can design entirely according to your own
ideas. Leftover yarn is also suitable for making the figures.

I also designed this gift bag especially for Christmas: The cheerful reindeer is sure to put a smile on everyone’s face and spread good cheer.

This gift bag is made of cardstock and measures approximately 22 x 27 x 13.5 cm. It’s quick to make and suitable even for craft beginners. All templates for the reindeer’s face include positioning guides, so everything can be assembled easily.
