Crochet little guardian angels and win store credit!

Our “Make owls and get your money back” campaign was very well received by users after the short test run with the little guardian angels. But the owl trend alone doesn’t make everyone happy either; an overwhelming majority of users wanted to crochet guardian angels again or make even more of them.

This is your chance to join in, have fun, upload photos, compete with other users, and get the purchase price back. Make something pretty with it—we’re looking forward to it. Any registered Crazypatterns user may take part. Basic crochet skills are required.
 
Here’s how it works:
 
Step 1 – Buy the pattern

The €3.50, or just €2.80 with a prepaid account, is money well spent, because everyone needs one or more guardian angels. Of course, anyone who bought the pattern before the campaign can also take part.
 
Step 2 – Make the pattern
Leftover yarn or thread scraps can be used wonderfully for this pattern. That way your yarn basket will look nice and tidy again, too. By choosing the yarn, hook size, decorations, and extras individually, each angel gets a unique look.
Tip: Guardian angels also make a lovely little gift for dear people at Easter, because there’s sure to be room in every Easter basket for a personal guardian angel.

Step 3 – Upload photos
It’s best to take your photos in daylight or in a well-lit place. Colorful angels should be photographed against a light surface/background. You can upload the photos here

Step 4 – Store credit back as a reward for the 5 prettiest little angels
Please be sure to remember: Photos for the little guardian angel campaign can be submitted until 05/15/2014. For the best 5 versions, the purchase price of the pattern will be refunded as store credit. You can use it right away to buy and make the next tempting pattern on Crazypatterns.

I have to admit that angel amigurumis aren’t really my thing.
But I wish everyone who wants to make little guardian angels lots of success and lots of fun doing it.

Ah, then I must have misunderstood anyway—I thought that if there’s a little angel contest, you could use your own ideas.
