Fabric Basket Campaign: Crafts + Money Back

Sew fabric baskets and win store credit!

Our last Guardian Angel Campaign was very well received. But we can’t always just crochet, and with the next campaign we want to find the sewing talents.

The current pattern comes from the seller Osaki. Many thanks to Osaki / Johanna for agreeing to let us use the pattern as part of this campaign.

This is your chance to join in, have fun, upload photos, compete with the other sewists, and get the purchase price back. Make something pretty from it—we’re looking forward to it. Everyone who has an account on Crazypatterns may participate.

Don’t have an account on Crazypatterns yet? You can register for free at any time: https://www.crazypatterns.net/de/users/registration

How to participate:

Step 1 – Buy the pattern

https://www.crazypatterns.net/de/items/560/stoffkoerbchen-bluete-orimono-naehen-anleitung
The €3.90, or just €3.12 with a prepaid account, is money well spent, because the basket can be useful in any household. Anyone who already bought the pattern before the campaign can, of course, also take part.

Step 2 – Make the pattern

The fabric basket can be sewn in two sizes, both made from one fabric, as a breakfast set for larger families or as a storage basket for big and small things in the bathroom or living room. The smaller basket is practical for jewelry on the nightstand, or as a housewarming gift, birthday gift, and more…

By individually choosing the fabric, decorations, and extras, each basket gets a unique look.

Tip: Fabric baskets are versatile, lovely to look at - and when you don’t need them, they fold up and disappear into a drawer. A fabric basket as a gift will delight every recipient’s heart!

If questions come up while making it or you need help, you can reach Osaki through the pattern’s comment field https://www.crazypatterns.net/de/items/comments/560/stoffkoerbchen-bluete-orimono-naehen-anleitung or ask here in the forum.

Step 3 - Upload photos

It’s best to take the photos in daylight or in a well-lit place (it’s best to avoid direct sunlight). The baskets should be photographed against a light surface/background. You can upload the photos here
https://www.crazypatterns.net/de/gallery/upload/560/stoffkoerbchen-bluete-orimono-naehen-anleitung

Step 4 – Store credit back as a reward for the 5 prettiest baskets

Please be sure to remember: Photos for the Fabric Basket Campaign can be submitted through May 31, 2014, inclusive. The best 5 creations will have the purchase price of the pattern refunded as store credit. You can use it to buy and make the next tempting pattern on Crazypatterns right away.

As with earlier campaigns, we hope for many participating users and look forward to pictures of pretty baskets. Choosing the best five certainly won’t be easy. We’re excited to see your creative versions.

Have fun and best of luck to all of you!

Hi Alexander,
I just noticed that you didn’t post the campaign on Facebook at all—is there a specific reason for that? The Guardian Angel campaign was posted on Facebook several times, after all.

Best regards, Johanna

I finally found it after all—without a photo, it kept slipping past me :-)

Too bad I can’t sew. That flower basket looks great.
Over the years, I’ve collected tons of tin cans, old cookie tins, and stuff like that—it’s a bit of a quirk of mine. And I’ve also been given many of them as gifts over the years. I’ve cut back on that a bit now because I have so many of them. But they’re great for storing little odds and ends. And the items are safe from the cats, too.
They’d just try to fish things out of the fabric basket anyway—or, alternatively, climb inside it. Or knock the basket over and then lie on top of it. :)
I hope all of you who don’t have these “problems” have a lot of fun making this and enjoy the finished basket.

Thank you! :-)

How rude of me—as soon as I’m a little stressed, I forget my manners and don’t even say hello *blush*

So: hello, and see you next time :-)

Creative regards,
AnWi :-)
