Dear users, dear authors,
just in time for Halloween weekend, I thought we could use this thread for last-minute makers to showcase the latest Halloween patterns and, of course, warm winter items and Christmas/Advent patterns.
So if you’d like to spend this weekend crocheting, knitting, sewing, and crafting, scroll down now. Have fun discovering them.
Pattern highlights can, as always, be found here in the recommendations at any time and of course in the shop.

@Authors
please showcase anything here that can make the weekend before Halloween more enjoyable. You may also present winter items and Christmas articles. Wishing you lots of success. The usual information about materials, difficulty level, technique, and what makes the pattern special must of course be included.

Warm leg warmers for little ones aged 0–3 months.

These leg warmers are quick to knit and keep baby’s legs warm from 0 to about 3 months. At first, the bottom can be folded over at the cuff.
They’re knitted with two needles and are suitable for beginners.
The pattern is simple but looks very nice. They also make a lovely Christmas gift for an expectant mother.

A great project, just right for a relaxing knitting weekend, is the knitted cowl "Sador".
A mindless pattern that requires no prior experience creates a real eye-catcher. Whether with lace yarn, sock yarn, or even leftover yarn, there are no limits to your creativity when making it.

The pattern includes many examples for a wide range of yarn quantities and weights.
Note: a gauge swatch is necessary to determine the circumference!

Get this great pattern now and knit yourself a cozy companion for the cold days.

Quick to knit in two different colors – that’s the Swoosh hat. It works with any yarn weight, and you can even mix different yarn types. Swoosh is also easy for beginners to master, and it’s also great for shrinking your stash of leftover yarn a little.
Have fun,
yours, Steffi

The Dracula Cape fits Halloween by name ;) and is a wonderful companion for fall and winter!

This cape gets its name from the famous novel character “Count Dracula” by Bram Stoker. Since the Count is often shown in modern film adaptations wearing a bat-like cloak, he inspired me to create this interpretation of his garment.
This cloak falls loosely and lightly over the shoulder and is held there by 3 buttons. Depending on how long you make the Dracula, you can also add a button at the back.
The cape is worked from top to bottom and, thanks to the cleverly placed increases, gets a natural twist that makes it easy to snuggle into the cape.
What do you need to know?
  • chain stitches
  • single crochet
  • double crochet
On 10 pages you will find a written crochet pattern in which the basic techniques just mentioned are not explained separately.

All of this is included: •suitable for beginners •one size •written crochet pattern •incl. filet pattern

These materials you need at home:
•1 skein 1500 m yardage, 3-ply, by Wolle Kunterbunt mit Herz (100% acrylic) •Alternatively 1500 m sock yarn, or 4-ply gradient yarn (50% cotton / 50% acrylic) •Crochet hook 3.5 mm •1 stitch marker •4 toggle buttons/buttons •Scissors •Yarn needle
