A great Christmas gift is this shark sock  (size 39/40)!

What you need for it

White and gray yarn from Gründl Happy (1 skein each), anti-pilling, some stuffing, buttons (black), yarn needle, and size 3.5 crochet hook The shark socks consist of several individual pieces that are crocheted/sewn together only at the end.  The sole length is approx. 25.3 cm and the width is 9.5 cm Except for the fins, all pieces are worked in half double crochet and in right and wrong side rows. One stitch is approx. 0.5 cm wide and 0.8 cm high, so you can also convert the measurements for other sizes.
You can also find a help video for it here.

There is also a crocodile sock in my shop :)

The perfect counterpart to the shark sock is, of course, this crocodile sock (size 40/41)

It makes a great gift and also looks funny on your foot.

What you’ll need:

Supplies: Green yarn from Gründl Happy Antipilling (2 skeins of 100 g/250 m each), a little white yarn and one strand of black yarn, yellow buttons, a yarn needle, and a 3.5 mm crochet hook (each sock weighs approx. 80 g)

The socks are worked in rounds using half double crochet stitches (except for the toe), and each round is finished with a slip stitch. Change the crochet direction every 7 rounds to create an alternating pattern. At the heel, the sock is divided and crocheted separately, then later continued in rounds again. The jaw is also crocheted separately. The individual parts such as the eyes and legs are worked in single crochet in rounds. Each stitch is approx. 0.5 cm wide and 0.8 cm high – i.e. if you want the socks to be a little smaller or larger, you can recalculate these numbers, e.g. for size 38/39: 2 fewer rows and 2 fewer stitches in width (4 fewer stitches in one round)

Who would like to learn how to knit socks?

You can find this PDF pattern(s) here:
Sock-knitting course using baby newborn socks

This is an illustrated sock-knitting course for baby socks size 15
and consists of a total of 4 PDF files:
the main pattern, handwritten sketches, baby sock chart for sizes 15–20 and a
sock chart for sizes 22–47.

It also includes a baby mitten pattern shown in short form, since parts of the baby sock pattern can be used for it.

Don’t be alarmed! It is harder to describe the process than it is to knit the socks.

Materials needed:
approx. 15 g 4-ply sock yarn for the baby socks, approx. 10 g 4-ply sock yarn for the baby mittens,
for adult socks up to size 44: 100 g sock yarn; if larger, 150 g is required.
set of double-pointed needles 2.5, tape measure, scissors, yarn needle

The baby socks can also be embroidered, for example, and used in various ways—not just as baby socks—e.g. as “packaging” for cash gifts or sweets, as an Advent calendar, as a keychain (proportionally reduced looks prettier), and more.

Premature babies need warm little feet too. For the very tiniest little feet and other uses, I have this PDF pattern available:
Knitting pattern for preemie socks / baby/doll socks / keychain

The finished socks may of course be given as gifts or sold. The usual copyright applies to the patterns.

Wishing you lots of wonderful socks!

For anyone who can’t or doesn’t want to knit a heel, these slipper socks are no problem at all. You only need to be able to knit with a set of double-pointed needles. The 6-page step-by-step pattern is explained for sizes 34 - 41. You need about 50 g of yarn per pair of socks.

For knitting beginners, I offer this version: The socks are knitted with 2 needles and cuddly yarn. But the slippers also look great knitted with thicker yarn. Also ideal for using up leftover yarn! Pattern for sizes 30 - 39.

Warm crocheted winter socks to feel good in,  with a very easy spiral pattern or with more challenging  cable diamonds in the pattern, woolly soft and warm. Both are quick to crochet and are also really great as gifts.

And anyone who would like to browse a little more will surely find something suitable in my Store.

Best regards

Hello everyone,
I also have a pattern for all those who are always complaining about cold feet. With these felted boots with a roll collar, that will finally be over!
Depending on your shoe size, you'll need 100 to 300 g of felting wool (50 g/50 meters), a long circular knitting needle or a set of double-pointed needles in size 7, and matching colorful yarn of your choice for the roll collar. And if you want them to be non-slip, you'll also need a rubber coating. All the information about the materials needed, knitting, and felting is in the pattern. The pattern is also suitable for knitting and felting beginners, as I describe and show everything in great detail.
I wish you lots of fun with felted knitting and always warm feet.
Yours, "Ina strickt"

Hello, it’s me again,
for those of you who have a nice warm home but still like your feet to feel comfortably soft and cozy in winter, I have another pattern for felted moccasins. Here, too, you’ll need felting wool (50 g = 50 meters; 100–300 g depending on shoe size), a long circular knitting needle or a set of double-pointed needles size 7, and a rubber coating for the sole. In the pattern, I explain and show you (including knitting or felting beginners) exactly how it’s done.
I hope you have lots of fun with the pattern and get beautiful results.
Best wishes - Yours, "Ina knits"

Are there any more cute slippers?

Now even the littlest ones can have warm feet—sizes 16–25, for ages 0–24 months and older

Easy to follow and suitable for beginners too—quick-to-crochet baby shoes/baby sneakers.

And for the *big kids*, the pattern for these great slippers is already in the works.

My tip: For children who are already walking and for slippery floors, liquid sock grips should also be used once the shoes are finished.

Baby socks knit up quickly, especially with the special heel, which is super easy.
Leftover yarn for 2.5–3.0 mm needles is perfect for this.
This makes sock knitting fun, and there are no limits to your color combinations.

For anyone who needs a quick gift, these cute owl slippers are just the thing. Even beginners with basic knitting skills and crochet skills for the eyes will have no problem at all with these slipper socks. They knit up relatively quickly and are always a big hit.

Brand-new, made from 6-ply Merino Christmas sock yarn by Ferner:

ALL sizes (newborn to size 47)

(to purchase/download, please click the image)

Socks made from 6-ply sock yarn are a bit thicker – and therefore also warmer – and above all faster
to knit than socks made from 4-ply yarn. They are usually preferred for house and bed socks, hut slippers, or even for hiking in mountain boots. Men love socks like these in work shoes.

This is basically a sock-knitting course, illustrated in detail using children’s socks size 32/33. All other sizes can be knitted according to the corresponding table information for 6-ply sock yarn.

Don’t be alarmed! It’s harder to describe the process than to knit the socks.

Included in the download :
  • PDF sock-knitting pattern - illustrated step by step (22 pages)
  • Baby sock table for 6-ply sock yarn, from newborns up to shoe size 20
  • Sock table for 6-ply sock yarn, children’s socks up to adult shoe size 47
Note:
For 4-ply sock yarns, there is a separate sock-knitting course with the corresponding tables here in my shop at https://www.crazypatterns.net/de/items/5603/sockenstrick-lehrgang-fuer-4-faediges-garn-alle-groessen-fuer-baby-kinder-damen-herrensocken

We need
1 ball = 150 g (yardage approx. 420 m to 450 m) up to shoe size 44; 200 g – 250 g from size 45
of a 6-ply sock yarn,
used here: the especially soft Christmas yarn color 02 “Mally Socks – Lungauer Sockenwolle” by Ferner Wolle, 75% merino, 25% polyamide; gauge approx. 22 sts x 31 rows = 10 cm x 10 cm;
set of double-pointed needles 3.5; row counter is helpful; tape measure, scissors, yarn needle for sewing in ends.

Wishing you lots of wonderful socks!
