Dear users, dear authors,
Blue is a great color that many people really love. Handmade items also look really good in blue. This is the place for the most beautiful blue patterns.

Authors,
please share your relevant patterns here. Don’t forget to include a link, an image, and text with information about the materials, technique, difficulty level, and what makes your patterns special.

Let me introduce myself, my name is Meti. I love going for walks in the rain and hopping through puddles. My absolute favorite color is blue, and you can crochet me in four different shades of blue. :)

You’ll receive a detailed 43-page pattern with lots of photos to help you make it.
The doll is approximately 36 cm tall.
The PDF includes the pattern for the doll, the raincoat, the overalls, the boots, the hat, and the umbrella.

You’ll also need:
  • approx. 100 g each of cotton yarn (hook size 3–4) in sand, denim, and light blue
  • approx. 50 g each in royal blue, turquoise, and white, plus a small amount of yellow
  • crochet hooks sizes 2.5 and 3.5
  • a threading needle, a darning needle, and stuffing
  • embroidery floss in black or dark brown and dark red
  • 2 safety eyes, size 12 mm, 7 small children’s buttons, approx. 8 pipe cleaners

Hmm, a blue pattern... yes, you can make a beautiful blanket out of my blue granny square, for example. Whether as a baby gift for a new arrival or perhaps for parents or grandparents to keep them nice and warm. Take a look at my granny square...

Crochet Cap/Hat (m/f) with small cables

The PDF pattern for this is available here:
https://www.crazypatterns.net/de/items/20203/haekel-muetze-hut-m-w-mit-kleinen-zoepfen

This versatile crochet cap/beanie – designed for head circumference sizes 52 cm to approx. 60 cm – for men as well as women and children gets great texture from the mini cables, so you can wear it in many variations, including as a hat – see the image gallery.

The PDF pattern includes
  • information on various alternative yarns
  • short pattern (for printing)
  • detailed crochet pattern with plenty of pictures
  • link tips, including for learning to crochet
Crochet skills - these stitches are used:
chain stitches, slip stitches (explained), half double crochet, double crochet, front and back post double crochet (with pictures)

Difficulty level: intermediate

Required materials:
recommended 150 g (for me exactly 100 g was enough – only a leftover thread of 30 cm remained)Adriafil Tabata, 100% wool, 50 g – 75 m, according to the label for hook size 7.0,
gauge according to the label 13 sts x 18 rows = 10 x 10 cm;
Alternative yarns:
“Chunky” weight with similar yardage and label information (e.g. Rico Essentials Alpaca chunky).
Different from the label information, hook sizes 6.5 and 9.0 are used here.
Gauge here with crochet hook 9.0: 10 double crochet = approx. 10 cm.
We also need a measuring tape, scissors, yarn needle for sewing in ends, stitch marker (can also be a contrasting thread).

Wishing you lots of joy,

Traudelina

Are you looking for a crochet pattern for a hat that you can combine well with jackets and coats? Then I have a suitable pattern for you here. The two different crochet stitch patterns and the flower make the hat look interesting, even though it uses only a few colors.

The pattern is also very easy for crochet beginners to follow, as it includes not only explanations of each step but also lots of pictures. The pattern is written for children (aged one and up) and adults.

You can find all additional information about the yarn used, the materials needed, and the pattern here: Girls’ Hat No. 11

This striped beanie is suitable for both boys and girls. It looks especially nice when you combine different shades of the same color, as shown here. But of course, other colors can also be combined without any problem.

The pattern is written for all age groups and sizes, meaning it’s suitable for children (ages one and up) and adults. In addition, each step is illustrated with plenty of photos, so even beginners can follow the pattern with ease. It’s also a great way to use up leftover yarn.

You can find all additional information about the yarn used, the materials needed, and the pattern here: Boys’ Beanie No. 4

How about this:

This PDF pattern is available here:
Knitted Poncho - featherlight - very easy

This is a brief pattern for a featherlight, very easy-to-knit poncho in one size, made from just 100 g of KidSilk (Austermann).

The pattern includes the preview image.

Required knitting skills:
casting on stitches, edge stitch (your favorite edge stitch), knit and purl stitches, bind off.

By the way: The poncho can also be knitted nicely as a warm outdoor poncho with bulky yarn, 100 g - 100 m, using needle size 8.0. Required yarn quantity approx. 700 g. The stitch count always depends
on your individual gauge.

Have fun,
Traudelina

Here’s a blue Advent calendar from me:

This calendar is made from photo cardstock; each cone is about 6 x 11.5 x 7 cm. The calendar is very easy to craft, and each cone is finished quickly too (apart from the drying times for the glitter liner), but there are 24 containers that need to be made and time is running out, so it’s best to get started right away!

Sky blue? Then I have Piet for you. He is a little bird who fits the motto "Small but mighty" perfectly. He also brings a story with him, is quick to crochet, and suitable for beginners :)

You need:
  • polyacrylic yarn in your desired colors
  • crochet hook 3.0 mm
  • sewing needle
  • two safety eyes 6 mm
  • stuffing material
Go to the pattern.

Best regards
Steffi

Blue like the waters of the ocean - that's the crocheted shawl "Dance with Dolphins".

The name says it all, because I was inspired to create the design when I saw dolphins swimming off the coast of New Zealand in the sparkling blue Pacific.
The shawl is crocheted from top to bottom; it consists of double crochet, single crochet, and chain stitches, making it easy for beginners to crochet too.

You'll need:

  • approx. 1200 - 1300 meters of yarn (e.g. from 100Farbspiele)
  • Crochet hook in the appropriate size (if you crochet tightly, it's better to choose one size larger)
  • Sewing needle for weaving in the ends
Finished size approx. 200 x 90 cm

The pattern includes detailed row-by-row instructions and detailed, professionally created charts. It is 21 pages long.

Get the pattern now and crochet your very own sky-blue dolphin dream. ☺

The sky blue of the Sea Waves Shawl shines just as beautifully as the sea waves of the Amalfi Coast.

The shawl is knitted sideways from the narrow edge to the wide edge, and the pattern is better suited to advanced knitters. But beginners have also already managed this shawl with a little help from me. I remember a Sunday afternoon on Facebook when I gave an enthusiastic beginner knitter a private knitting lesson via chat. In the end, she also managed to knit a beautiful Sea Waves Shawl.

Materials:

  • 250 g multi-stranded yarn, cotton/acrylic, 5 strands, yardage 750 meters
  • 1 circular knitting needle, 4 mm
  • 1 stitch marker
  • 1 needle for weaving in ends
  • 1 pair of scissors
You can also knit the shawl with any other yarn, as my test knitters on Ravelry have shown.

Required skills:

  • cast on stitches
  • knit stitches
  • purl stitches
  • yarn over
  • knit 2 stitches together
  • slip 1, knit 1, pass slipped stitch over
  • knit 2 stitches from one stitch

Measurements:

1.60 meters x 1.35 meters

The pattern includes a chart and written instructions.

And here’s another Advent calendar in blue:

The little house is made of photo cardstock and measures approximately 17.5 x 22 x 20.5 cm.
Assembling the individual calendar compartments is very easy, but to ensure everything fits together well in the end, it’s very important to work carefully. The borders and numbers drawn with a glitter liner take a little time to dry, but otherwise everything comes together quite quickly.
