Although this soul warmer was made for summer using a cotton-linen blend, you can of course knit it just as easily for the transitional season using wool yarns! Any yarn suitable for size 4 needles will work! It would also look great with gradient yarns or even in mohair! The pattern is available for all sizes from 34 to 50!!

Ponchos are trendy this winter, and I have a great knitting pattern for one here for you:

The Siria poncho is knitted as a large rectangle and then crocheted together. Finally, fringes are knotted onto the newly created edge. 

For the poncho you need 

• Approx. 900 meters of cozy winter yarn (e.g. MyBoshi Flow)
• Size 7 knitting needles
• Size 7 crochet hook
• Scissors 
• Sewing needle
