Hardworking little helpers: are you being productive today in yarn life and in real life too?

Dear little helpers,
how is your yarn life and your real life going? Are you being productive?

My yarn life doesn’t really get going until after 6 p.m. on weekdays. Right now, I’m crocheting several mosaic granny pot holders as little Christmas gifts.

In real life, in addition to my daily chores, I cleaned my kitchen inside and out today and removed silicone from the countertop grout. Tomorrow I’ll try to reapply it. I’ve watched plenty of YouTube videos and hope it’ll be easy to do in practice.

 

In real life, I’m being pretty lazy right now—the weather is just too nice, so I’m still enjoying my knitting life on the balcony at lunchtime. Although I’ve actually already started making some preparations for fall—trimming back the plants a bit and stuff like that. And in my knitting life, I’m currently knitting a walrus in a striped sweater. It’s definitely going to be cute.

I finished embroidering my picture yesterday, and this morning I already washed out the pencil marks. 



Now I’m off to the garden to get the turtles ready for winter. 

 

I haven’t knitted as much as I’d planned over the past few days—something else always came up—but here’s an update

I spent 8 hours on the train yesterday, and aside from a few short breaks, I was able to crochet, crochet, crochet. So nice :)
