Have a lovely weekend, everyone + a good start to October

I wish you a pleasant weekend with plenty of time for crafting and a good start to the new month.

It’s almost over already—thanks, Josefa—and I wish the same for you and everyone else here!
The weather here is still gorgeous; yesterday and the day before, it was still 30 degrees on the south-facing balcony in the sun. No sooner had I thought about turning on the heat last week than I was sitting under the awning again because it would have been too warm otherwise.
Today it’s a bit cooler—the night was really crisp—and a few clouds are rolling in, but going for a walk was still wonderful.
I collected acorns; I’m going to plant them and see if I can grow little trees.
And I finally sewed the last pillowcase for the sofas. Or so I thought. All the fabric I’d set aside for this is used up, and I’m out of zippers—great. And as I looked at my two sofas with all their beautiful pillows, I spotted a plain white one! Ha, I’d miscounted! Oh well, it’s not that urgent anymore, since I have other pillows for Halloween and the Christmas season. And one white one isn’t so bad after all—at least it doesn’t look so hospital-like anymore.

@Veronika - unfortunately, the weather wasn’t quite that nice here. Lots of fog yesterday morning, with just a brief glimpse of sun in the afternoon. 

Yesterday, when our little hedgehog weighed 650 grams, we opened up the enclosure. We set up the wildlife camera beforehand. He went out and back in a few times. This morning, when I went to bring in the food bowl, he hissed at me again as usual. 

He’s sleeping in his bed of moss and leaves, just like before.
