Dear community,
how are things with you? Are you doing well? Do you have enough time for crafting or do you have a lot to do in real life?
I wish you all a pleasant weekend.
Thanks, Josefa—I wish the same for you and everyone else here too!
Yeah, the weather… just great. For me, anyway. Not so much for nature, though—it’s too warm and too dry. We’re eagerly waiting for some rain, which is supposed to arrive this weekend.
Bring it on—I’ve got plenty to do. As always, I have enough yarn at home, plenty of patterns too, and besides, my furniture has finally arrived, and I don’t like the included pillowcases, so there’s still quite a bit of sewing to do. There are way too many pillows on the sofas anyway—there’s barely any room to sit—and all the pillowcases are plain white, while the seat cushions and backrests are blue and white striped. That’s a bit too much white for my taste, so I’ll be changing that little by little.
And the seat cushions on the chairs are plain beige—they didn’t come in any other color—but they don’t match the rest at all, and I’m not really a fan of beige either. So, even more sewing to do.
Thank you very much, Josefa, I wish you the same, and everyone else here too, of course.
Crafting is always possible; in between, I do paper crafts with paper and a die-cutting machine.
Weather-wise, we’re having lots of rain, thunderstorms, and thick clouds right now. Proper crafting weather, cozy on the couch, since I still have this week off.
Thanks, Josefa—I wish you and everyone else a wonderful weekend, too.
Weather-wise, it’s been pretty mixed here. We had a light drizzle all last night, and since yesterday it’s been freezing cold—there’s an icy wind blowing, and I’m wearing socks again. The sun was out today, though, and it was only about 13 degrees.
We’ve started redecorating our home office and the hallway, and we’re still looking for matching baseboards and a few other little things.
But that’ll have to wait for now, because my mother-in-law just turned 85, and we’re organizing a party for her.
It’s just too much for her these days—first coffee and cake, then a barbecue in her garden, and at some point the mayor will even stop by. I guess that’s just how it is in a small town… hopefully she’ll be able to enjoy it.
