I have a doll that’s 22 cm from head to toe, and when I bought her, she was only wearing underwear.
For personal reasons, I haven’t been able to do anything else for her until now.
I’d like to start trying to crochet a little dress or something for her. Can anyone help me with a pattern? I’d also be happy to pay for it if it’s affordable.

Have you tried searching under “doll clothes” here? My dolls, Anna and Anton, are 20 cm tall. The patterns for their clothes are also available individually. They should actually fit your doll.

Hello Petra - Roxi,
if you enter your desired keyword in the search box at the top, you can then filter by the craft technique you want, so crochet, and also by the price you want. You can display "cheapest first"; there are always lots of free / inexpensive patterns included.

A teddy bear for my godchild with a growling voice.
Just two examples of what I’ve made, and there was much more besides.
Thank you all, and I’ll give it a try. Yes, before my 3 strokes I used to do a lot of crafting and handwork. There was hardly anything I didn’t do, since I also worked for bazaars at a residential home ... hmm, like a machine ;) Of course I can’t manage as much as I used to, but I’ve already crocheted a few worry/lucky worms, counting mice for my grandchildren, and a Master Yoda was among them too. I knitted my husband a lovely safety-yellow scarf, but everything I make just takes time, and often I have to leave the work lying for a few weeks. In the past I often worked from my own imagination, but that doesn’t work at all anymore... I always need patterns and lots of time :) I was happy about your tips, and when I finish something I’ll show it to you
I sewed this one....and except for the clothes, everything was done by hand on my boys’ sports fields during practice or games; even while watching TV, my hands were never still.

It certainly wasn’t easy to regain all the everyday skills you needed, including crafts, after three strokes. It’s wonderful that you can do crafts again now. I wish you lots of success dressing your doll. You can show photos of your finished projects here in the thread or in our craft group.

You’ve told us about your life before and after your three strokes—and what you can still do or have regained the ability to do. What’s important is that you still find joy in your crafts! They will always be with you, brighten your day, spark your curiosity, challenge you, and bring you moments of happiness.
Crafts have been a part of your life for as long as you can remember; it’s just that their creative expression has changed over time. You used to be able to do this and that, but that’s in the past. No one can take that away from you. Today, new creative endeavors await you. And who knows what skills you’ll develop in the present and future—anything is possible if you stay curious and don’t give up.
With that in mind, I hope you have lots of fun dressing your doll and working on your other creative projects.
