What are you doing on New Year's Eve?

Do you have plans for New Year's Eve, or are you not even thinking about it yet since Advent and Christmas aren't over yet?

Just like every year, we’ll be keeping it cozy—we’ve already had our big celebrations, so now it’s time to relax, even on New Year’s Eve :-))

It’s the same here. We used to spend New Year’s Eve in Alsace a lot, but now we’re staying cozy at home. It’s not even certain that we’ll still be up at midnight—I most likely will be, but my husband might just sleep right through it.

We’re just going to relax, since we have a lot planned for the days leading up to it.

Just like every year, I’ll be working on New Year’s Eve. Luckily, we close at 2:00 p.m. that day—it used to be 4:00 p.m., and there wasn’t much left to do after work back then. In recent years, New Year’s Eve was always centered around our dog, but that’ll be strange now that she’s no longer with us. The last three New Year’s Eves with her weren’t too stressful, though—she was usually fast asleep by the time the big commotion started.
