Since I work a lot with scraps, it’s inevitable that I use different materials for many smaller projects. I often draw inspiration from my stash.


The Wärmebär Kuschel is a cover for a grain pillow that can be heated in the microwave. That’s why I used heat-resistant cotton yarn for the teddy’s body.  But I wanted the head and limbs to be nice and cuddly-soft, so I chose plush yarn. To make it easier to see the stitches while crocheting, I crocheted with a thin cotton yarn carried along as an extra thread.


The Royal Guard Soldier was crocheted with cotton yarn, but of course plush yarn was a must for the bearskin hat. The soldier’s lower body is a cardboard toilet paper roll that was crocheted around. This way, you can remove the upper body and hide a little surprise gift inside the soldier’s belly.



Also, Percy the Peacock is crocheted mainly with cotton yarn. To make the tail nice and feathery, I crocheted around the final round of the peacock eyes with fringe yarn. The peacock’s feet and crest are made of wire.

My triangular shawl Frühlingsleuchten has a varied mix of patterns, so knitting it never gets boring. All patterns are explained in detail and are suitable for beginners.
It is knitted with 2 different colors, 100g each, in sock yarn weight.
