the clocks change this weekend. Overnight from Saturday to Sunday, the clocks will be set back one hour.

We’re still enjoying a truly golden October—it’s heavenly! Delicious raspberries are still ripening on the balcony—I wouldn’t have thought so—and the sun is still really strong.
I actually got another crochet Christmas request, but first I had to order some yarn because—as always—no matter how full the scrap box is, the exact yarn I need is always missing! 😂 And since it’s not worth placing an order for just one skein, I immediately started thinking about what else I could make that I didn’t have the right yarn for—so it’s a purchase purely for ecological reasons. :-)

Something like summer has returned here, too. It’s wonderfully warm, so we took a long walk through the fields this afternoon.

Tomorrow we’re cooking with friends, but not until late afternoon. So I’ll have some time to keep sewing, and if the weather stays this sunny, I’ll spend a little time in the garden as well.

My husband and I aren’t into Halloween or anything like that at all, so it just passes us by.
I’ve just finished my Secret Santa gift; now it needs to be wrapped and stored away safely, because one of the people receiving a gift is my oldest daughter, and she does keep coming over to see me and into my sewing room too, so it has to be well hidden until the time comes :-)
Now I’m going to get started on 3 pillows for the KT; I ordered fabric panels for them, so they’ll be 3 cute animal pillows

Well? Did everyone remember to change their clocks? How many years ago was there talk of getting rid of this again?

Veronika, all our clocks adjust to the new time on their own—I don’t have to set them anymore :-)

How convenient! Here are two more that can’t manage on their own.

All our clocks change automatically, except for my wristwatch.

So once again, I’ll have to get used to the new time.
