Busy Little Elves: Finishing UFOs in 2024

dear little elves,
can you finish all your UFOs = unfinished objects / handmade projects by the end of the year, or are you creating new UFOs?

Only if I took a long vacation and spent several hours crafting every day.😁😄
Then maybe I could manage a few of them. But nothing could get in the way.

Maybe bake some cookies, make Christmas gifts for nice people, and create new UFOs.😜

Finishing all UFOs—impossible. There are way too many, and I’d definitely lose my enthusiasm for crafting.

  But I think the challenge of not creating any new UFOs is a good one. That’s my goal right now.

I keep telling myself I’ll finish something old. But then when I see that big box, I just don’t feel like it anymore. Most of the time, I end up unraveling it anyway, because I don’t even remember the pattern anymore.  

I currently have two WIPs, but I’m staying on top of them. A soul warmer that’s almost done and a sweater I just started. That one should be finished this year. In between, I’ll crochet a few Christmas figures



I’m working on a UFO right now. Cozy on the sofa.

I’m almost done with the embroidery—then comes the part I find difficult: working on the sewing machine.
