Cuddly blankets are the ideal toy for little babies. When designed as animals, they become a child's first cuddly toy (and usually one that is loved for a very long time). It becomes especially interesting for the child when different materials are used to make them. This gives the toy a special feel that encourages the baby to spend a long time playing with it.
In my
shop there are three different animals crocheted in this way: bunny, cat and mouse. For the head, paws and tail, I used thin chenille yarn, and for the body, cotton and plush yarn.
I’m introducing the bunny and the cat to you here:

Cuddly Bunny Hoppel can be made as a boy bunny or a girl bunny (with embroidered eyelashes – see picture). For the inner ears, I sewed a color-coordinated fabric onto the crocheted ears.

For
Cuddly Cat Mauzi, the eyes, little nose and whiskers are also embroidered, and the inner ears are sewn with fabric.
