What can you use to fill crinkle cloths with?

with empty, clean potato chip bags.
They make a great crinkling sound, are saliva- and food-safe, and can be washed along with the rest of the laundry…

You can also buy special material for this. I once sewed a little bunny. But I also used something from around the house for its ear—I think it was a roasting bag.
The important thing, no matter what material you use, is to make sure there are enough holes in it, especially if you’re using a whole cloth.

It’s a shame I didn’t know this sooner—now my grandchildren are already too old for crinkle bags. But these are valuable tips for everyone else. I especially like the one about using empty, cleaned-out chip bags. That way, trash actually turns into something useful. Thanks for sharing.
