Dear users, dear authors,
dear little helpers,
what are you working on right now? Do you need a new project?

Right now, an ankle-length crochet dress; lots of painstaking work, it won’t be finished in time for this summer anymore....
In between, various sewing projects — I’ve already bought more patterns here than I can keep up with sewing!

But watching TV while crocheting is the best!

I’m continuing to sew on my quilt. Nos. 12 and 13

Since my eyesight is getting better every day, I can now finish knitting my socks with the dark wool.

Best regards, Inge

Right now, I’m crocheting my way through summer. Flip-flops are a must.

Yes, thank you—he had surgery at noon, and he’s doing very well☺️😁👍 First follow-up appointment tomorrow.

Best regards, Inge

Glad to hear it, Inge.

I still need to lengthen my sweater—I got a new supply today:

Andrea, those flip-flops are super cute. ♡

You’re all so hardworking!

I’m currently very busy with the produce from my garden, so I’m just quietly reading along here. But I’m really happy to see your diverse creations and that you’re commenting on and showing them here.

Dear Inge, I’m glad your eye surgery and your husband’s went well. It’s great that you can see well again! We’re looking forward to seeing lots of beautiful things from you.

Dear Andrea, I always love your little flip-flops! They’re truly pure summer. And they always make great gifts. I’ve already received two from you as gifts, one of which I gave to my sister. She now carries it around as a keychain. They instantly lift your spirits and remind us of the lightheartedness of summer.

Dear Anja, I’m glad that your health has stabilized again too. You’ve really not had an easy time. That makes me all the happier that you can now make such beautiful needlework again. Needlework is always something to long for and a comfort in difficult times. So keep finding lots of joy in your colorful creations and enjoy them.

Dear Petra, I’ve been following your patchwork squares for a while now, too. That means I look at yours and get inspired to work on my own planned sewing projects, which include a small patchwork quilt. I understand your search for the right fabric and the right color for the next patch. It’s wonderful to watch such a big project take shape. With every finished patch, it takes on a different look ... and in your mind, you can already see it finished. Thank you for taking us along on this journey.

@everyone else
Everyone I haven’t mentioned by name, please don’t feel left out. Everyone here is making wonderful things! And each person’s creativity would be missed if they weren’t here.

Keep enjoying the summer and your needlework. I still have to pick blackberries today.
Best wishes - Ina

Inge, I'm glad that your husband is doing well after the surgery too.

Today I felt like Ina. The harvest was processed. I made my first zucchini peach jam.

Super delicious

Hi, I’m still knitting socks from leftover yarn for my grandchildren. They really like the pattern.

My neighbor had some large canning jars left over, but without clips or rubber seals. I repurposed them as storage jars for spools of thread and tried my hand at crazy quilting. It’s fun!

I’m knitting a dishcloth.
No specific pattern—just stripes.

No idea why the comment wasn’t posted. This is a case for our emergency lamp. It has a carabiner so you can hang it somewhere, and the star-patterned strip has a gap so you can attach the lamp to a strap or belt.

I’m still knitting my third pair of socks right now, and then my merino scarf is waiting to be finished :-)

Best regards, Inge

I’m still sewing my squares.

I’ve tried making triangles now, but I’m having trouble with the math... I can only think in terms of squares 🤣🤣🤣

But I’ll still be doing a lot of sewing.

I’m still missing 2 pieces 😊

Whoa Petra, that was a lot of work.

Yesterday I sewed/cut out 15 squares for a cushion.

Otherwise I'm still working on the sweater and crocheting the dress, and a cardigan has now been added. For variety.

The rug is on hold; whenever I think of it, the cat is snoozing in front of my knitting nancy spot...

I’ve just finished knitting some socks for my next grandchild. This time with non-slip dots, since they’re always running around the house in socks.
