Ganz neu im Blog gibt es diese kostenlose Strickanleitung für ein kleines Krönchen - als Motiv für ein nachhaltiges Abschminkpad oder auch für einen Untersetzer. Es reicht schon ein kleiner Rest (ca. 10 Gramm) an Garn, z.B. Baumwolle, den hast Du bestimmt zuhause :-) Die Anleitung ist sehr einfach und bereits für Anfänger mit Grundkenntnissen (rechte und linke Maschen) geeignet.

Meine Enkelin hat sich zum Geburtstag eine Girlande mit ihren Namens-Buchstaben gewünscht. Es sollte in Form von einzelnen Wimpeln sein, denn so eine hat ihre Schwester auch. Als ich mir die Girlande ihrer Schwester dann eingehend angesehen habe, gefielen mir die Buchstaben darauf nicht so recht. Also probierete ich andere Ideen aus.

Das Ergebnis teile ich nun in meinem ersten Blogartikel. Dort kannst du jeden Schritt nachverfolgen und deinen Kindern oder Enkeln damit auch eine Freude machen.

Das Beste: Du brauchst dafür nur ein paar kleine Stoffreste. Was du sonst noch brauchst und wie du ein schönes Ergebnis bekommst, erfährst du in meiner kostenlosen Nähanleitung.

Freut ihr euch auch schon auf die Erdbeerzeit? Ich bin im Moment ganz begeistert von den kleinen roten Früchten und so ist zu den gehäkelten Erdbeeren noch ein kleines Kissen mit den süßen roten Früchten dazu gekommen.

In my sewing room, I made magical doll clothes for the baby doll of my little granddaughter. Since these were the first doll clothes I had sewn, I was really curious myself to see how they would turn out. At the end of this wonderful sewing project, I now have lots of pretty doll clothes and I’m really excited by how little fabric you need to sew such beautiful things. As you can see above on the doll jacket, I used KAM snaps as closures here. And since some of you are still wondering how exactly it worked with those little colorful things, I also made a separate blog post about that. That way we can all take a look whenever we need to ;-)

Last but not least, I also recorded for you and for myself how to finish neck seams with a so-called “Streberstreifen” neck binding strip. The big advantage is that nothing bothers or rubs at the neck, and it also looks good. It’s really worth giving it a try.

Here comes a little butterfly fluttering by. If you love these fluttering, enchanting creatures as much as I do, you can now knit one in no time. The blog post explains in great detail, with row-by-row instructions, how you can recreate this little square. You can use a single square as a coaster or makeup remover pad; if you combine several squares, you can create entire blankets, pillowcases, or other wonderful things.

This moody smiley is waiting on the blog to be knitted :-) Depending on the mood, it’s either sad or happy. Here, the classic double-faced knitting technique is slightly modified so that both sides can be knitted differently. 



The finished smiley can be used as a coaster or a makeup remover pad. You could also incorporate the motif into all kinds of accessories using the knitting chart.

Und noch eine kleine Doubleface Anleitung - in diesem Blog-Beitrag zeige ich Dir, wie Du ein "A" stricken kannst. Das kann natürlich ein netter Untersetzer oder Abschminkpad sein für jemanden, dessen Name mit einem "A" beginnt. Aber genau so kann die Vorlage auch als Einstrickmuster für verschiedenste Accessoires genutzt werden.

If you say “A,” you have to say “B” too... ;-) So here comes the B, knitted in double-face. Normally, the B would appear mirror-reversed on the back - in the blog I show you how to knit it so that the B is correctly readable on both sides.
