Busy Little Elves: What Are You Working on Today?

Dear users, dear designers,
dear little elves,
what are you working on today in your crafting and in real life? Have fun, everyone. 

Since I had to work all day today, I’m relaxing this evening by doing some embroidery

I’m totally unmotivated again, unfortunately. 😑

Every day I work my way one row further on the temperature snake, and tomorrow I’ll be continuing with LaCritza’s Mystery Cal. on Instagram.
Other than that, I’m thinking about what to make with the yarn I have on hand—a sweater, a jacket, or a vest. I’m currently browsing through the patterns every now and then.
In real life, I’m raring to go with planting my balcony, but it’s still too cold—though the soil, pots, and ideas are all ready to go. The bees are happy right now that at least the rosemary is in full bloom.

I’m still working on my blanket, and that’s going to be the case for a while yet. I’m only 50 cm into the length so far, and I’d like the blanket to be about 170–180 cm when it’s finished.

I’m in the middle of knitting an “EmotionalSupportChicken.” Unfortunately, the pattern is only available in English. But I found a tutorial that explains everything in detail. Unfortunately, that’s also only in English. But with the pattern and tutorial, I’m making slow but steady progress.

Brigitte, depending on where you bought the patterns, they may differ from the tutorial. I’ve had to learn that the hard way... 

Dear dievomdeich: How did you manage to crochet a door wreath so quickly—both yesterday and today? And with all those details (car, letters, clouds, sun)? It turned out absolutely wonderful, and you have my utmost admiration…

No, the great thing is that the tutorial is by the same person as the pattern.

I dug out my beads again, and this is what I came up with. I followed a video tutorial.
A little crocheting on the side.

Andrea, the beetle is so cute. And I really like the yellow crossbody bag crocheted diagonally. 

Marlies, your door wreath is a great gift. I’m sure the little guy was very happy about it. 

I’m still working on strawberries, and yesterday I almost finished my embroidery on my dyed fabric. Today I’ll start sewing. 

I have the day off today, but the weather still isn’t suitable for the garden. I’ll probably sew today. 

@ Wollbaerli Thank you so much, Christina. I’m home all day, and a one-person household gets things done relatively quickly. That leaves plenty of time for crafts, and I generally crochet and knit very fast. The move is actually this weekend after all, so time was running short.

@ Petra Thank you very much. A few days ago, Dad told me that Leon always looks at my door wreaths with great enthusiasm—and loves to touch them with his little fingers, too... That’s how I got the idea to make him a wreath as well. I’m really going to miss that little guy.

The lady from the tutorial sells her pattern on a platform and on her own website. These are two different patterns. 
In the video, she says something about stitch markers that don’t appear in my pattern at all. 
And later she mentions a stitch count in the video and an extra round that also don’t appear in the pattern.
