The forecast calls for terrible weather this weekend. So I’ll be sitting down at my sewing machine to make a gift for my granddaughter. And of course, knitting is also on the agenda.

Yes, we’re having terrible weather here too; it’s been pouring like crazy for days. I’ve already done all my shopping and don’t need to leave the house anymore—getting soaked to the bone twice is enough for me now.
This weekend, I’m going to make some jam and bake a cake. Both with stevia, since my husband has diabetes.
Other than that, I’m crocheting one row a day on the temperature snake; there’s still a Mystery CAL by LaCritza going on Instagram—I’m really curious to see what it’ll turn out to be—and I still have a lot to sew onto a dragon, so I definitely won’t be bored, especially since my stack of unread books is still quite substantial.

It’s been raining here all week, too. And it’s gotten so cold.

I’ll be doing some sewing, embroidery, and maybe a little knitting.

I’ll keep knitting on my blanket—it’s slowly starting to take shape :-)) and it’s not turning out nearly as drab as it seemed at first. Since I’m using different kinds of yarn, some parts are a bit wavy, but I’m trying to even it out now by knitting one or two sections a little smaller—I should have thought of that sooner ;-) :-)

Have a wonderful weekend too, everyone! I actually had quite a few things planned for the garden, but it’s so cold, wet, and yucky outside that I bought a new crochet top pattern from claudia-sticken—I even found the right yarn in my stash—and that’s my new project now.
