Handmade Projects for the Garden + Weekend Projects

I knitted this winter set for a baby from leftover sock yarn. It works up quickly and can be finished on the side. That way, everything is ready for the cooler season: hat, scarf, gloves, and socks.

Also a lovely gift idea for a birth.

For a doll child (43-50 cm), you can also knit this pretty, colorful jacket with a matching hat from leftovers. The set even fits small newborns.

The jacket is knitted with raglan from the top down, so it has no seams. Everything is explained well.

A few cute egg cozies make a lovely little gift for anyone who enjoys a boiled egg in the morning. The egg cozies not only keep the eggs nice and warm, they also decorate the breakfast table at the same time. Egg cozies are quick to crochet. You also don’t need much material and can work with leftover yarn—so it’s an ideal project to tackle in the garden or on the balcony when the weather is nice.
