Amigurumi for Beginners: Download Suitable Patterns Now

If you’d like to crochet amigurumi, you should start with simple shapes first. Here are a few ideas from my shop:


Mole Poldi  has very gentle curves, created by regular increases and decreases while crocheting in spiral rounds. For beginners, I recommend crocheting the little animal with cotton yarn first, as shown in the picture on the right. Later, you can also try the cuddly chenille yarn (picture on the left)



You can also crochet the Elephant at the Beach in two different versions: on the left with acrylic yarn (for beginners) and on the right (for advanced crocheters) with plush yarn.



And last but not least, the Seahorse Hippy. Here I crocheted with a double strand of sock yarn. In the pattern, every round is written out, so this little animal won’t be difficult even for crochet beginners.

Amigurumis—I would recommend them to any beginner, and start with small amigurumis 😀

And you’ll always have a small gift ready for family, friends, acquaintances, or colleagues to wish them luck.
