How do I draw a big circle???....

... if I don’t have a compass that big? You’ll need what’s called a professional measuring tape, which has a small hole in the metal parts at both ends. This hole is important—you can see it in the picture—because you insert a small nail into it, which lets you use the measuring tape as a compass. That way, I can draw my circle line by line.
You’ll see later what I need the circle for :-)

Ah, now I know what that little hole in the metal part at the ends of the measuring tape is for. Until now, I’ve always drawn large circles using a piece of string and a pencil. But that wasn’t very accurate, because you can’t check the centimeter measurements as you go along while drawing. Learned something new!

And now we’re all curious to see what you’ll make out of that circle. Off the top of my head, I’d say a circle skirt?
