Broken pedal ;-(((

The pedal on my Pfaff Expression broke at the joint—good thing I have another Pfaff whose pedal is compatible with my sewing machine :-) so I was able to keep sewing.
My husband is trying to fix it now; if that doesn’t work, I’ve already found a replacement online, so I’ll just order a new one.
I just took a look at my records—I’ve had the Expression for 10 years already; it doesn’t feel like that long at all. ;-) :-)

Dear Inge, you don’t exactly go easy on your machines—they’re in use every day. After 10 years, they’re bound to start showing signs of wear. It’s good that it’s just a minor part that can be replaced.

I always think it’s great when you can still fix something.

Thank you both, here are 2 pictures of how hubby solved it. He got 2 small eyelets from me so that the screws, which he put back in as pins, wouldn’t rub along the plastic. Glued the whole thing with a special adhesive, let it dry and set overnight and today I was already sewing again :-)
