Book Flea Market for Everyone

Hello everyone,

I’m currently cleaning out my stuff and parting with some craft books. Of course, I could sell or trade them online somewhere. But before I do that, I’d like to offer them to you first. After all, I know that the craft experts are right here, and some of you might be happy to add a treasure or two to your collection.

This is strictly a private initiative on my part—and on the part of anyone else who’d like to join this thread later. This is explicitly not an initiative by CP , but I did, of course, obtain CP’s permission for the book flea market beforehand.

So here’s my idea: anyone can post their craft books or magazines for sale in this thread . Anyone interested in an offer can send the seller a private message. They can then work out all the details (such as price and shipping) privately.

To help us keep track of the listings later, each new listing will be assigned its own number. If an item is no longer available, the poster unfortunately cannot delete the post or edit it. Maybe Josefa can help us with that? I’m sure we can find a solution.

What do you think of my idea, and would you like to participate? My stack of books is already ready to go.

I don’t need to write much more about this; take a look at the table of contents. The book is well made and clearly laid out. Techniques are explained and shown well. There are patterns and projects to knit yourself.

I think this is absolutely wonderful! Not only are there many beautiful nature-inspired embroidery motifs to stitch. The author also explains how to turn your own photo motifs into an embroidered picture. There are also many enchanting examples of what you can do with the embroidery motifs. You can tell from the book’s content that the author truly enjoys embroidery.

The topic is pretty clear :-) 63 pages of beautiful models to crochet, with large crochet charts (see table of contents). It also includes techniques, stitch types, tips and tricks all about blocking.

Bought on my first vacation in the U.S., I think this book is ready to move on.

26 different ways to knit an alphabet. The motif is shown as a chart, and there are also written instructions. You’ll also find ideas and suggestions—such as a baby blanket and a pennant garland—in this book.

THE BOOK IS WRITTEN IN ENGLISH and is in good condition.

Book in very good condition—has never been used. First edition from 2003.

I’ll include a second book with Christmas motifs.

I think that’s a really great idea, but I’m afraid it’s not really suitable for me because of the international shipping costs.
