Dear users, dear designers,
outside it’s rather gray at the moment, but eventually it will be spring again, and then soon Easter too. Would you like to download a few popular patterns for Easter / spring, or add them to your favorites / wish list? Have fun crafting.

I’d like to introduce you to the very popular Easter pattern “fillable bunny house” from my shop.
You can use it to decoratively give sweets, money gifts, and much more. The roof is removable, so whatever you like can be tucked away inside.
The pattern is described in great detail, of course with lots of photos.
Use cotton yarn for it, colorful leftover yarn for the decoration, and you can get started right away.

Wrap gifts with reusable materials
you can do that with my motif cloths / dishcloths / knitted doilies.

To match the theme, I’d like to introduce you to my value set of
5 dishcloths with different Easter motifs.
Of course, all of these dishcloths are also available individually in my shop.

For each dishcloth, one 50 g ball of cotton yarn is enough.
The thinner the yarn, the faster the cloth dries.
I really like using cotton yarn with 170 m / 50 g yarn.
It knits up well, and the dishcloth has a handy size.
If you use the yarn double or use thick cotton yarn,
you can also knit potholders using the same pattern.

The pattern is created by the right combination of knit and purl stitches.

Here are a few clever and fun ideas for Easter from my shop:

1) Pocket Chicken "Klipp-Klapp" - the cheeky hen has a secret hiding place for a few treats or small gifts. The pattern also includes pretty decorative objects (heart, flower, egg), which you can use as table decorations as well as filling for the little chicken.

2) "Sweet Big Chicks" -  The fluffy chickens are crocheted from thick chenille yarn, making them super soft and cuddly. They are crocheted mostly with single crochet stitches, and thanks to the thick yarn, a chicken is whipped up quickly.

3) Easter garland with bunny, heart, and flower - the decorative chain is crocheted in one piece and works beautifully as table decor, gift ribbon, napkin ring, headband, etc. The pattern is supplemented with lots of step-by-step photos and crochet charts for each individual motif.

Pretty baskets are part of every Easter celebration—for collecting eggs, for sweets, or simply for decorating. Here I’ll show you two examples of mine. I hope you have lots of fun making them.

Easter basket

Everyone would probably love to have such a pretty little basket. The small colorful bobbles make it look playful and cheerful. The base is sturdy because we worked a CD into it. The handle also keeps its shape thanks to an insert. You can make it with or without a handle, and also lower, as a bowl. Also ideal for leftover yarn.




Small square basket

If you prefer square baskets, you might fall in love with this one. It also has a sturdy base and a sturdy handle. You can crochet it with or without a handle.




Empty gummy bear tub becomes an Easter nest

Every spring, discount stores sell the large plastic tubs of gummy bears. And those are exactly what we use for our Easter decorations—after eating them empty, of course. We cover them and, in no time at all, have a pretty Easter decoration. Wonderful for an Easter nest.

Even if the weather isn’t ideal during the holidays, this little table lamp creates a cozy atmosphere.


It’s made of photo cardstock and tracing paper and measures approximately 9.5 x 12 x 5 cm. To recreate it, you should already have experience with similar projects, as cutting with a craft knife and gluing narrow surfaces requires some practice.

The cute bunny Purzel is really looking forward to Easter, when he’ll get to help the Big Easter Bunny with the preparations for the first time. He’s a bit clumsy, though, so sometimes an egg falls out of the basket.
I crocheted Purzel using white plush yarn. To make the stitches easy to see, I also use a thin filet yarn as an additional thread. This makes working with plush yarn a breeze. If you’re still hesitant to try this wonderfully cozy yarn, you can of course crochet Purzel with cotton yarn or another type of wool.
Purzel the bunny also makes a great Valentine’s Day gift. In that case, you could fill the basket with chocolate hearts instead of crocheted eggs.



Easter wouldn’t be complete without eggs, of course. These cute Easter bunny egg cozies make a great decoration for the breakfast table on Easter and also fit hard-boiled eggs, which don’t necessarily need to be kept warm. Crochet the bunnies with clothing in different colors! That way, every family member can have their own Easter bunny egg cozy.



And here’s another Easter bunny, this time with two other Easter animals. A bunny, a chick, and an Easter lamb are curiously emerging from their colorful eggshells. These animals are a great project for using up leftover yarn in various weights: for the animals, I used Lana grossa estivo II with a length of 150 m / 50 g; for the eggs, Paintbox Yarns Simply Aran (184 m/100 g); for the doily, Schachenmayr Catania Grande (63 m/50 g); and for the lamb’s fleece, Schachenmayr Lenja Soft (85 m/25 g).

These bunnies are already hopping around excitedly, full of anticipation for Easter. Maybe you’d like to knit them too and bring someone a lot of joy with them?

With this crocheted bunny, only the tail needs to be sewn on. The rest is crocheted in two parts, which are joined together at the end with a round of single crochet. 

Depending on the weight of the yarn, the bunny will be a different size. 



Knitted dishcloths make a lovely little gift to bring to an Easter invitation. Of course, the bunny is a must for Easter.
