Dear users, dear authors,
we have many crochet patterns in the shop, and the selection for crochet beginners is large. Many of these patterns can also be handmade with leftovers. If you as a beginner would like a quick sense of achievement, then this is exactly the right thread for you. Get patterns to download now or fill up your watchlist / wish list.

@Authors,
you can each present 2-3 patterns per author here. Don’t forget links, images, info, etc. All patterns presented here must not have been advertised in the forum in the past 3 weeks and must have at least 10 sales / a CR of at least 2%.

For crochet beginners, figures with simple basic shapes are ideal: spheres, cones, and cylinders. These are crocheted in spiral rounds with regular increases or decreases.
You can use figures like these to create truly original gift packaging that is pretty to look at and can be reused time and time again.

The snowman bottle sleeveis really easy to make. You’ll need about 100 g of white yarn (preferably cotton) and a few colorful scraps for the scarf, hat, and carrot nose. The snowman can also be crocheted for smaller or thicker bottles.

And here’s another idea for a crocheted bottle sleeve: the bottle gnomesHere you can use up leftover yarn very well: You’ll need 35–60 g of cotton yarn for the body (depending on the size of the bottle) and 15–25 g for the hat. I crocheted the beard using a scrap of plush yarn, but you can also cut it out of plush fabric.

And here’s another original packaging idea for gift certificates or a small treat: Chef Charly
is crocheted around a cardboard tube (from toilet paper). The upper body can be removed, so you can hide the gift certificates (perhaps for a restaurant visit or a special cooking class?) or something else inside.

For crochet beginners, I highly recommend my strawberry pattern.
In addition to a brief explanatory section for advanced crocheters, it includes a detailed step-by-step guide supplemented with plenty of photos. It also features crochet charts, and I explain less commonly used stitches in detail, so you’ll definitely be able to follow along as a beginner.

You can crochet three different sizes of strawberries, as well as a flower and a typical strawberry leaf. This will have you perfectly prepared for the upcoming strawberry season.

You can find more information and the pattern here.

I hope you have fun crocheting!
