It’s supposed to get really cold again — that’s the perfect time to knit yourself a long, thick scarf. 

Knit and purl stitches are used. The pattern is written out row by row without abbreviations, and I have also included a knitting chart. Thanks to the narrow ends, you can wrap the scarf around several times and then neatly hide them by tucking them under.
