This colorful cardigan is one of my granddaughter’s favorite pieces. The pockets and hood are very practical and make the cardigan something special. It’s knitted from soft merino wool using a top-down raglan construction. Good knitting skills and experience are required for this project.

A lovely, cozy knitted cardigan is an absolute must for winter. It needs to be made from “good wool” so it will keep you warm, too. I like using gradient yarns, because that makes knitting more fun and the cardigan looks prettier. We knit it as a top-down raglan in one piece. It has 2 large pockets, an elongating shawl collar, and a belt. Its length goes past the bottom, so you won’t get cold around the lower area either.

Bring winter into your home with this snowman.

By combining several identical or different motifs from my patterns, you can create a table runner or table strip or a tablecloth, a large knitted doily or a baby blanket.

If you can cast on and bind off stitches and know how to knit knit and purl stitches, you meet all the requirements for knitting this pattern.

Cold feet will be a thing of the past when you knit warm, colorful slippers for yourself or your loved ones using a few thick yarn scraps or yarn held double or triple.
Warm bed socks are always welcome and don’t have to be worn only in bed.
