Hardworking little helpers: Are you stressed?

Dear users, dear authors,
dear little helpers,
are you feeling the pressure with your Christmas preparations, or do you have everything under control? I hope you have a week with as little stress as possible and some time to catch your breath. 

Not at all. 

Yesterday I realized that this year I’m giving away almost nothing I made myself. 

I bought the last few gifts ahead of time—now I just have to wrap them. 

The tree will be cut down on Thursday, so everything’s under control.

Nope, I’m not stressed at all—why would I be? We’re taking it very easy. The gift for my youngest granddaughter has already arrived, and the one for my husband still needs to be wrapped, but I’ll look for something else tomorrow and then wrap everything together.

Not at all—everything’s ready here so far. Just need to pick up the last few fresh items on Friday, and we’re all set.
But then again, we don’t make a big fuss out of it. When the family comes over, we fire up the hot stones, and then everyone just cooks to their heart’s content. Presents are only for the little ones—it’s all very laid-back.

Stressed? I don’t know what to call it.
Anyway, I have so much on my mind at my new job that I forgot to decorate and bake at home, and I still need to wrap the gifts for my parents.
We don’t have a “colorful platter” yet—I baked another batch of cookies and honey cake today (because the first batch was already gobbled up).
I also bought the rest of the ingredients (for the salad for Christmas dinner) today. So now I have everything I need.
I had the day off today, so I was able to meet up with my former coworker for coffee. It was good for both of us, and I also gave her the crocheted teddy bear. She thought it was so cute.
Now I’m just hanging out a bit here on the forum, and this weekend I’m back on the late shift. But I have Christmas
Day and Boxing Day off. That’s when Christmas really starts for me.

This week I set up the nativity scene. I decorate it every year in the entryway



The tree has been up since yesterday and is all decorated. 



I’m almost done with the last Christmas present.

My little tree has been decorated since Thursday, and all the gifts I needed have been wrapped for days, so bring on Christmas :-)
