New Crochet Patterns December 2023: Start Crocheting Now

For everyone whose hands easily get cold at home or in the office, these fingerless wrist warmers are designed to give your hands enough freedom of movement for working at the computer or doing crafts. The wrist warmers are also very easy for beginners to crochet.
I used sock yarn with a color gradient and a glitter thread for them. But you can crochet them with any yarn you like and in any size. This is great for using up leftover yarn!

There’s a new tiny Christmas sweater in our shop! You can use your crocheted sweater to embellish gifts, for example. You can crochet the sweater in just one evening using a few pieces of leftover yarn.

Perfect for winter, here’s an infinity scarf made almost entirely of single crochet and chain stitches, so it doesn’t require any special crocheting skills.
I used a smooth, twisted wick yarn for this—but there are no limits to your imagination, depending on whether you want the infinity scarf to be subtle in a solid color or boldly patterned.

You also have (almost) complete freedom when it comes to choosing the type of yarn—the main thing is that it should be easy to crochet with. That’s why you can crochet the infinity scarf using light and airy mohair or, just as easily, a smooth wool yarn.

Brand new in my shop are 3 new wintery Kinder Surprise egg figures. To make them, you only need a few bits of leftover yarn and a Kinder Surprise egg. First, enjoy the chocolate egg. Then it’s time to get to work and crochet around the empty shell of the Kinder Surprise egg with the figure you want. It can be opened, and you can hide a small surprise inside. These little figures are also perfect as table decorations in wintertime.

We are crocheting the “Winter Sky” jacket/cardigan together as a CAL in December/January.It can be made completely individually (length, width, etc.). It is worked in a somewhat unusual way, not RVO, but it also won’t have an annoying shoulder seam.

The pattern is very comprehensive and, as always, includes a written section as well as crochet charts for all patterns + schematic drawing and size chart.The CAL includes 5 parts in total; you can find all the info in the product description or, after purchase, in the info file.

Material for my sample in size 38/40:

• approx. 2800 m / 4-ply modal yarn from Sandra`s Bobbelchen
• Crochet hook suitable for the yarn (example here = hook size 3.5)
• I also recommend a few stitch markers to mark certain points if needed
  
• Buttons, if desired

Small red or white arctic fox. The fox is only 9 cm tall and can be used as a keychain or bag charm.

Today I’m showing you my quick-to-crochet “Grandma’s Handkerchief Holder” for cloth handkerchiefs.
If you make it a little wider and longer, you can also store your dishcloths in it.
That way you’ll have everything tidy in the cupboard or on the kitchen sink.

The holder has a crocheted pattern.
Two crocheted ties serve as the closure.
You can also use ribbon or twist cords.
Depending on your taste, you can crochet the handkerchief holder in one color, in multiple colors, or make it colorfully from leftovers.

If you know the stitch types mentioned, you can give it a try even as a beginner.
