Advent 2023: everything ready for Advent? Stock up now.

Dear users, dear authors,
for Advent decorations, the Advent wreath, and the Advent calendar, it’s getting to be time. Have fun with the wonderful patterns from the shop.

Everyone’s been busy—maybe you’ve already finished your big gifts and have some time and energy left for a few little extras. I hope you enjoy making these projects.

Snowflake

This one always works! Whether as a decoration on an arrangement or as a particularly beautiful gift tag. It’s crocheted from thin white cotton and then stiffened to keep its shape. A crochet chart is included.





Gift Bag

Gifts look even more beautiful and stylish when presented in a pretty bag like this. We’ll crochet it using the three Christmas colors: green, white, and red. The pom-poms look like snowballs. The bottom is double-layered for extra sturdiness, so it won’t sag. And in the spring, you can follow this exact pattern to crochet a bag in pastel colors. Your children or grandchildren can then use it to collect Easter eggs.

This Advent calendar may look rather unspectacular, but it has a little something special: Each of the calendar’s eight compartments contains three boxes, of which only the bottom one is visible. Only when you pull out a box does the one on top fall down and become visible.



The calendar is made of photo cardstock and measures approximately 12.8 x 12.8 x 12.8 cm; the individual compartments measure approximately 6 x 2 x 5.5 cm. To ensure everything fits together properly in the end, you’ll need to work as precisely as possible; otherwise, the calendar is well-suited even for less experienced crafters.

Christmas is the celebration of love, and until then, Mr. Snowman lights one candle on the Advent wreath for his beloved every week.
