Plans? I’m trying to get my head together again after having an absolutely chaotic day today. First, I got lost because of a detour—not even 2 km from home—wandering all over the place through neighborhoods I’d never been to before. Then I parked in a parking garage, went shopping at exactly four stores, and by the time I was done, I’d forgotten where I’d parked, so I had to trudge down every row, loaded down with bags, until I finally found my car again.
But I bought a grapevine for the balcony—I’ll plant it in a decent pot—and I also got some new yarn, so I’ll start something new with that later: one of those fun fantasy creatures by LaCritza; I’ve already finished one.
There’s a little housework waiting too—laundry, ironing, and stuff like that—but nothing too dramatic. Other than that, I’ll put my feet up, enjoy a delicious meal, crochet, and read, with a glass of wine in the evening—maybe even out on the balcony.

Sitting out on the patio tonight is out of the question for us. The temperatures have dropped quite a bit.

I’m planning to do some crocheting and crafts. We’re invited over tomorrow. On Sunday, we’ll see what the weather has in store for us.

Over the past few weeks, I’ve removed our hedge in the front yard. It never really took root and had just become an eyesore. Now I’ve ordered some new—though small—yew saplings. They’ll arrive next week. I’ve already removed some of the old soil (dumped it at the back of the big garden under the fir trees) and loosened it up.  Tomorrow we’ll buy compost and mix it into the remaining soil. When the little plants arrive on Wednesday—along with some fertilizer—everything will be ready.

Other than that, I also need to book a flight tomorrow. I’m flying to the Canary Islands with a friend, just like every November. My husband will just have to get through it somehow. I hope everything works out.
