Many children receive a toy store set for Christmas. Of course, this includes a shopping bag. It will bring them special joy if it’s filled right away with lemons and carrots.

Who didn’t dream of a train set as a child at Christmas? With this crocheted train set, that dream comes true even for the very little ones. It’s cuddly soft, has no sharp edges, and can even handle being tossed around the room with some force! Small dolls can also ride along in the wagons, which are coupled together with hook-and-loop fasteners. And if the train set ever ends up in the sandbox, it can even be washed without any problem.

I crocheted Pamina from plush yarn. So I could see the stitches better, I crocheted the plush yarn together with a thin cotton yarn. This also gives the little animal more stability while keeping it cuddly soft. The bridle and saddle are made from cotton yarn and can be removed.

When a Christmas gift for a child is presented in the right packaging, it brings twice as much joy!



This gift bag is made from photo cardstock and measures approximately 19 x 18 x 10 cm. It takes a little time to make the bears on both sides of the bag, but otherwise, the bag is very easy and quick to make.

Christmas—the most wonderful celebration of the year. Everyone looks forward to it, and children especially can hardly wait. We adults need to start thinking of ideas in good time to make special and unique gifts. Handmade things are always lovely. Here are 3 suggestions from me.

My most lavish doll dress—ideal for the grand evening when our little princess meets her prince. It is crocheted in one piece (crochet chart included). The tulle underskirt is sewn by hand underneath the dress. This gives it volume and structure. There are different options for the top part.

Something for the DIY fans among you ... maybe you also have a talented dad or grandpa who works a little with wood. The bed consists of 4 large pieces that are cut out of a wooden board; the templates are included. Then it is glued together and varnished.

After that comes the pretty part: the bed needs bedding, pillows, and a rug. Maybe you’ll give a new doll along with the bed.
