I’m still as obsessed as ever with doll things. Since there is enough doll clothing in my shop for now, I’ve started on the furniture. After all, the dolls don’t just want to stand around. My dolls can now make themselves comfortable on a stool, armchair, or couch. Behind their backs they have lots of different pillows, plus a fluffy blanket and an exciting magazine. Just like in real life. We’d like that sometimes too, wouldn’t we? You can invite a friend over and spend time together. At least our dolls can do it that way.
There is a new pattern from me. With it you can crochet:
- a round stool
- an armchair with a backrest
- a sofa with or without a backrest
- a table
You can’t do without decoration. That’s why the set includes patterns for:
- 1 flower pillow
- 1 solid-colored pillow (you always need one as a counterpoint to colorful things)
- 1 fluffy pillow in 2 sizes (the large one goes behind the back so you can lean against it)
- 1 fluffy blanket (crocheted or knitted)
- 1 fluffy rug
- making magazines
As you can see, it’s an extensive set that leaves hardly any wishes unfulfilled. I tried out several color variations (see sample images). My favorites are the ones where I crocheted the side panels of the seating furniture with solid-colored gradient cakes.
In the pattern, I listed my sources for small solid-colored gradient cakes in exactly the colors I used. There are 11 to 13 colors in small skeins, all perfectly color-coordinated. It creates great effects. See here:
So, enough chatting. I hope you have lots of fun making it. Maybe it will even become a Christmas gift for your children or grandchildren.
Warm regards from Ina
