Baby giraffe without spots

Dear users, dear authors,
I don’t know if you’ve heard about this, but in the USA a baby giraffe was born without the spots typical of reticulated giraffes. The baby giraffe is completely brown. The zoo is currently voting on the baby giraffe’s name, and they hope to draw more attention to wild reticulated giraffes, whose population has apparently shrunk dramatically.
I can’t link to anything here, but if you search Google for "reticulated giraffe + USA", you’ll find articles, pictures, and videos. 

If you’d like to make a handmade giraffe, you can surely find a suitable pattern in the shop. Here in the thread, you can also show pictures of your giraffes if you like. 

I admired the solid-colored baby giraffe in Stern—it’s such a cute little animal and has beautiful eyes.

Like all giraffes, their eyes are to die for!
We spent many years wintering on Fuerteventura. There’s a zoo there—a really great facility—and you’re allowed to feed the giraffes with the food provided there; it was such an amazing experience, standing eye to eye with a giraffe!

We also have a zoo nearby with a few giraffes. There, you can even get face-to-face with the giraffes. It’s really impressive. When my daughter was little, her school class took a guided tour of this zoo, and they were allowed to feed the giraffes peanuts and admire their blue-black tongues.

I love giraffes, too, and I also think they have absolutely gorgeous eyes. And that little giraffe calf is, after all, the only one of its kind in the world. What wonders nature keeps bringing us time and again.... Fantastic!
