Hello, everyone!
Have a wonderful Friday evening. I’m really happy to have found this craft forum.
I’d like to introduce myself briefly so you know who you’re dealing with. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find a section for this.
My name is Brita, and I’m based here in Hamburg. I’m 71 years old—so a little on the older side—and I live alone.
So, now for my hobbies: Naturally, crafts (crochet, embroidery, and macramé bracelets). I can knit, too, but I don’t really enjoy it that much. I also work with graphic design software and computers in general.
If you have any questions, just ask. I’d be happy to answer them.

I’d like to warmly welcome you here at crazypatterns and hope you find lots of great inspiration here. For me, crafts are incredibly enriching in all their forms. Good for the mind and the heart. 
I create crochet patterns because that’s what I do best. Tinkering with new patterns is incredibly exciting. And creating the text and crochet chart is varied, and I enjoy all of it 💞
Recently, I’ve also started blogging here on crazypatterns! 

I think it’s great that you have such diverse interests, and if I ever have a question, I’d be happy to come back to you.

Welcome, dear Brita, and have fun here!

A warm welcome to our crafts group, dear Brita! I’m so glad you found your way here.

We’re in a similar age group—I’ll be turning 70 in March, and I enjoy crocheting and knitting. I’ve also dabbled in sewing, but that was back when my son was little. He’s 47 now. Thanks to my two granddaughters, I’ve taken up crafts again after a long break, and I can’t even imagine stopping now. That’s also how I came to write my own patterns, which I do with great joy.

There’s also a crafts group here—maybe you’d like to join in and show off your creations sometime. It’s really fun.

Unfortunately, I have less time right now due to personal matters following a death in the family. But I’ll definitely be back in action there soon.

Good morning, everyone!
I’m absolutely blown away that sooooo many people are welcoming me. I’ll see today if I can post a few of my creations on the forum. I’ve given most of them away and didn’t think to take a keepsake photo. But a few things have stayed on my computer.
I’ve hardly done anything over the last three years. I just didn’t have the motivation. Up until then, I still had my mother. But now I’m slowly working my way out of my grief, and my perspective is becoming clearer again.
I hope you all have a lovely day that isn’t too hot.
