Amigurumi Crochet Pattern: Polka-Dot Hen.

Pretty gift packaging is something you always need. It’s practical to already have a few in stock. Among these four hexagonal boxes, you’re sure to find one that’s perfect for your next gift.



The boxes are made from photo cardstock and decorated with patterned paper. They are approx. 5.5 cm, 8 cm, 10.5 cm, and 13 cm wide and approx. 6 cm tall. You can download the patterned paper design together with the templates and the pattern.

Eco-friendly bags are always in demand. Wherever you can avoid plastic, you should. That’s why shopping nets are always very popular. They’re easy to crochet, are a great way to use up leftover yarn, and always make a nice little gift for family or friends.

This shopping net is crocheted sideways and, once turned, gets its special vertical stripe pattern.
The net measures approximately 38 x 30 cm and can easily hold a small shopping trip. But you can crochet it in any size you like by simply starting with more stitches and crocheting more rows.

What You Should Know and What You’ll Get

You should be familiar with the following stitches:
slip stitch, single crochet, chain stitch, half double crochet, double crochet, crossed double crochets, and the crossed double crochet stitch (if you’re not familiar with it, search for videos online if needed)

At the end of the pattern, there’s a brief description of how to crochet crossed double crochet stitches!

Materials Needed: Rellana

Denim (100% cotton – recommended hook size 3.5 – 50 g = 140 m)
Denim (dark blue) and gray, approx. 70–80 g each
Alternatively, any yarn or color

However, cotton is recommended, as it is washable at 40 °C.

You only need basic sewing skills for it, such as sewing a (more or less) straight line. Don’t worry, the seams are short and it doesn’t have to be 100% perfect either. ;-)

I have something for cold feet: Windows are thick socks made from 6-ply sock yarn. The textured pattern is reminiscent of little windows. The knitting pattern describes 8 dual sizes.

The Update socks are fun. These are reversible socks that can be worn on both sides. The heel is also completely reversible. The pattern describes 8 dual sizes from 36/37 to 50/51.

It’s about time to start crocheting for fall decorations. The Flower Child Oak is perfect for crocheting with leftover yarn, since it requires very little yarn. It’s about 12 cm tall, wears a cape made of oak leaves, and holds an oak twig in its arm. The arms and legs are bendable, so this little doll can strike all sorts of poses.

This pattern is full of cute details. It’s no wonder—it was designed at the “Zuckerstück” café, hence the name “Sugar Cube.”

Today I can show you a motif cloth for dog owners or dog lovers.

The little mixed-breed dog is just waiting to be knitted by you.

If you have a leftover cotton yarn of approx. 30g (170m per 50g) or a thicker full ball of cotton yarn and a matching knitting needle, you can get started right away.

Knitted with knit and purl stitches in the right order, the doggy appears row by row.
