Finish a UFO: Who can finish a UFO this week?

Dear users, dear authors,
who among you can finish a UFO—an unfinished object, or a craft project left unfinished—this week?
You can finish a UFO by
- actually completing the project, including all seams, etc.
- throwing the UFO away. Sometimes there’s just no other way.
- unraveling the UFO. Maybe you can make something new out of it.

Who’s in?

I’m not participating in the UFO challenge, but I’m finishing up a current gift.

In between, I’m continuing to crochet my UFO blanket, adding a row every now and then. There are now 100 stitches per side, so it’ll take a little while longer until I’ve used up all the yarn. 

I frogged a UFO this week. After I finally picked it up again, I didn’t like the pattern anymore.
But then I cast on again right away. After all, I had a new pattern I liked better right at hand.
I hope I don’t let it sit around again until I don’t like that one either.

Although I really can’t help it. Every week, my daughter comes to me with a new picture of a top she wants me to knit for her. And the matching vest to go with it, and then this and that to go with it.
And as a good mom, you put your daughter’s wishes first.

I threw away a UFO this week...... It had been sitting in a craft basket for quite a while; I’d planned to knit a blanket using old leftover sock yarn with a pattern—a spiral pattern, I think.... I threw it away; there wasn’t much of it anyway. Now I have room for something new again..... 😋😊

Christina, finishing it was worth it. The pattern is very pretty.

I have a very old UFO😋
from when I was still in school—it was already during my final years—when my mother gave me a tablecloth to embroider as part of my trousseau.... with cross-stitch.... I started as a “good” daughter, but “only” a little bit... and so the tablecloth has been lying in some “trunk” waiting, and waiting... maybe someday I’ll find a use for it, or rather make something else out of it—I think it’s a linen tablecloth... My mother said every daughter had to have a tablecloth in her trousseau—an expensive, embroidered one..... But I told her back then that I didn’t need one..... and didn’t want one either... Who else has something like that? She would have loved to give me embroidered bed linens as well........

if you don’t plan to finish the project, then it may not be a UFO, but rather a relic from earlier times. :-)

If only I knew...? I would have sewn it a long time ago..... Maybe a great idea will come my way........

I definitely want to finish my UFO. But right now I have another UFO in progress. And so many new ideas in my head... I definitely won’t be starting anything new this week.
