Handmade flowers / great for leftovers, too

Dear users, dear authors,
would you like to whip up some quick leftover flowers today? Here in this thread you’ll find great patterns. Have fun with them. If you like, you can show your finished flowers in the forum.

2-3 patterns per author are enough. Don’t forget links, pictures, info, etc. All patterns presented here must have at least 10 sales and a CR of at least 2% and must not have been presented in the forum within the past 3 weeks. 

With myflower children you can create a seasonal table with lots of colorful flowers. Each flower child has bendable arms and legs, so you can display it sitting, lying down, running, or standing. It comes with its flower, so you can also crochet just a colorful bouquet of many different flowers. The little flowers (and the flower children too) make wonderful table decorations. They can be made from just a few leftover yarn scraps.

If you like flowers and enjoy making them, this pattern might be interesting for you. The point here isn’t to imitate real flowers, but to get creative: There are three different variations for each of the three flower layers, which you can also combine in different ways, and you can really let your imagination run wild with the many possible color combinations.



The flower petals are made from photo cardstock; for the center, stem, and leaves, I used crepe paper. The flowers are about 27 cm tall and easy to make.
