I have some crocheting plans: finishing up my summer pattern and taking photos. Then I’ll keep crocheting and tweaking the new design—and do even more crocheting 🤣.

I have so many commitments during the week right now—trying to get everything done quickly before summer break 🙈—so I’m actually glad I don’t have to do anything too big right now. (Plus, I’m still recovering from an injury).... so I’ll just be chilling with my crochet stuff 🥰

It’s supposed to get really hot here, but right now it’s still manageable—29 degrees—and since the last few days (and especially the nights) have been very cool, the apartment is still nice and cool.
We’ve had a burst pipe in the house for a while now; after a long search, they’ve finally found the leak—in the wall between our two bathrooms—so at some point they’ll have to do some major chiseling. I’m going to start clearing out the affected bathroom bit by bit—taking down the decorations and such—so everything’s ready when the contractors come.
Other than that, I’ll be doing a lot of crocheting, helping my sweetheart with his model-building (I paint the tiniest little parts), reading, and probably just taking it easy.

Oh, right—I should add “get well soon” to that, too! :-)

I’d also like to wish everyone a speedy recovery.

I have a nice, quiet weekend ahead of me. I was already out in the shade under the trees at noon today, crocheting a cover. I thought I’d finish it, but I made a mistake and had to rip it out. So I’ll just finish it tomorrow.

  I’m planning lots of crocheting. I have a new idea and I’d like to try it out. It’s supposed to get really hot here, too, so you don’t really feel like moving around.

Thanks, and wishing everyone here a lovely weekend and, on Sunday, if possible, no thunderstorms or severe weather. Wishing anyone who’s under the weather a speedy recovery.
 As for us, we’ll take the weekend as easy as possible. Thank goodness we don’t have to go out in this heat anymore, so we’ll hunker down and either sew or knit.

Since we’re going away from the 12th to the 14th—and that’s practically a trip around the world, including a visit to the World Bird Park—we don’t have any plans for the weekend.
