Oh, you’re making some lovely things there.
Dear Nina, I’d love to see those two little dresses for your little one. I think picking things out is really great! They’re probably summer dresses—what kind of yarn did you use? And did your little one get to help decide on the design (color, shape, pattern)?
Dear Inge, I always love your classic little roses and that saying, too. Can you have something like that embroidered on, say, handmade paper? Then you could use the designs to make cards, too. Or does the embroidery machine not like the paper fibers it’s stitching into?
I haven’t done any crafting. I still have to do my “homework” with the new photos for the doll clothes. That might take a while. Yesterday I recreated the “Basic Fashion” set. One of the seven garments was missing from my stash. So I had to knit it myself following my own pattern from 2017. Here’s the missing piece on my new no-name doll:
Today I wanted to recreate the cover photo with all 7 models, but the weather wasn’t right. Inside the house—at my workspace in the sunroom—it was too dark. Gray clouds in the sky just don’t provide enough light. Now I’m waiting for nice, calm weather with an overcast sky and no sun.
In the meantime, I made jam today from 4.5 kg of strawberries I picked in my garden. I also pulled weeds in the flower bed.
Warm regards, and I hope everyone has a lovely, relaxing evening.
