Hello everyone,
the weather here just can’t make up its mind today. It’s just like April: sun, rain, hail, thunderstorms—we’ve had it all, on and off, today. From one moment to the next, heavy rain set in, followed by hail. The hailstones were like projectiles crashing down onto the ground and into our pond. There was some real force behind them.
The hailstones were so large and hard that they knocked unripe apples and plums, sweet cherries, leaves, and even entire branches off the tree. The hail also thoroughly battered the bell pepper plants. I wouldn’t want to be a fruit farmer right now. The hail is really ruining the harvest.
I hope things are calm and relaxed where you are.
Warm regards, Ina
And the hail didn’t even spare my big windmill :-(
