what are you working on today? Do you have a new project?

I’m knitting an RVO—I still have some of that blue-purple-glitter yarn left.
It needs to be used up.

I’m knitting my new cardigan, but I had to rip out the pattern I originally wanted to knit because mistakes kept creeping in starting at about 10 cm, and I had to rip out about 3–4 rows over and over again to fix them. After this happened four times within about 90 minutes, I’d had enough, so I unraveled everything down to the cuff, and now I’m knitting stockinette stitch all the way up. That’s it—and now it’s going smoothly :-) Thank goodness the cardigan is for me and not a commissioned piece :-) That way, I can knit however and whenever I feel like it—as long as my hands let me. Yesterday evening, I looked at my hands and noticed that my right hand was half again as thick as my left—which means I won’t be knitting as much in a single day anymore.

I’m working with a bobble yarn for the first time. It’s going to be a summery scarf.
The gallery inspired me to give it a try.
It’s so much fun working with the color gradient—I don’t even want to take a break.

Just as I’ve been doing since January 1, I’m working on the temperature blanket one row at a time every day.
I’m also working on a bobble for a light, airy summer sweater with holes that I can wear over a top or shirt—specifically this one:

Since my shoulder surgery was canceled at the last minute after all, I’m getting back into crocheting a bit.

I’m making a pig (an amigurumi), and since I have to crochet very tightly, I can only work on it for short periods at a time so as not to strain my shoulders. But I’m getting used to it—I’ve never moved around sooo much while working on a pattern :-))))

Unfortunately, it’s so cold here that I don’t want to go out into the garden—but then again, I’m a real wimp when it comes to the cold...

I have a wash mitt in double moss stitch on my needles—or rather, on a needle trio for the first time.
Oh man, this takes some getting used to.🙄 I’ve never had to pick up so many dropped stitches before. Plus, there’s always something in the way. It’s going slowly but steadily.

I’ve set my mind on crocheting a semicircular shawl. After some back-and-forth, it’s finally coming together 😊

As for me—after two days of desperately searching for a new idea and the right yarn, I’ve finally cast on a loop scarf. But I’m only on the first row, so we’ll see if the pattern goes well with the yarn. 

I still have some yarn left over from the swap package… So today I started two new projects… One is actually already finished. Now I just need to take some photos, but I have to wait for nice weather. Best regards from the Bavarian Forest 🌳 

I’m currently crocheting 50 little champions for a game publisher. 

I’m spinning again 🤣🤣🤣
on my spinning wheel—my alpaca wool—so I can knit again.... On the agenda are “Hanteli” (wrist warmers) made from alpaca wool, to sell at the Christmas markets 😊🎄

I’m trying my hand at a crocheted blanket with different patterns. Video tutorial from the internet.

I’m working on the second wash mitt on the Trio. These needles are a little longer than the previous ones. It’s easier to knit with them because I don’t have to keep picking up dropped stitches.
Both wash mitts are made from swapped yarn.

I’m working on a new loop. But somehow I keep losing my place and have to keep unraveling it.

It’s coming along slowly..... 

I just cut out 7 utensil holders for my classmate—I’m going to sew them now. I didn’t manage to get enough batting yesterday to make more; it seems to be a very popular item right now :-)
