If your hands tend to get cold while working at your desk during the transitional season, these patchwork wrist warmers are ideal. They’re very easy to knit, since you only work knit stitches and knit patch by patch following a precise plan. This means there’s no need to sew anything together, and there are no seams.


Little children love finger puppets. My grandson’s favorite fairy tale is The Frog Prince. Of course, I had to crochet him a Frog Prince finger puppet. Maybe you’d like to make one too? You’re sure to have some leftover yarn in the right colors at home.


Soon you’ll see them blooming everywhere along the field edges again: the bright red poppies. It’s just a shame they wilt so quickly! That won’t happen with this crocheted poppy flower child . Knitting pattern for summer pants in sizes 68 + 74

The pants are started at the bottom with the lace pattern in rows, then you continue with the circular needle and knit in rounds. I used a cotton yarn here. The pants grow nicely with the child, because for summer they can also be just 7/8 length. 

If you have a cat, you know how important a cozy place to sleep is. Why not make a felted cat basket yourself with
felted crochet? With a little skill and the right materials,
you can make a custom and comfortable basket for your cat.
